Technical competencies:

  • Knowledge and experience in a EPC company or shipyard or offshore construction facility as lead in coating section.
  • Strong background in blasting and coating standards.
  • Experience in corrosion assessment surveys
  • Strong background with resolution of technical issues during projects planning and execution phases
  • Possess knowledge of MS office and Project Management skills.
  • Ability to develop, interpret and follow method statements and procedures, specifications, drawings, and all other discipline related project and engineering documentatio
MIN. QUALIFICATIONS Essential Desirable Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
  • Masters degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent Training
  • NACE Corrosion Specialist or Equivalent


  • NACE

  • O-CAT/S-CAT or equivalent.
  • OPITO approved offshore & Onshore safety training.
  • Specification Manager in any of the Major Marine paint companies
  • Certified Insulation and PFP inspector.
Experience

  • More than 15 years working experience in EPC company as lead in Coating section which undertakes New build/Conversion / offshore projects.
  • 8 years experience as corrosion specialist.

Salary:
AED9, AED10,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
