The Global Payment teamprovides payment solutions including payment acquisitionsdisbursements transaction monitoring payment method managementforeign exchange conversion accounting reconciliations and so on toensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experienceon ByteDance platforms including TikTok.

In line with the globalization strategy andvision of the company the Global Payments team builds a platform toprovide crossborder payment solutions for all ByteDances productsand services that are growing rapidly worldwide. This is anexciting opportunity to make an impact on the global scale acrossall ByteDances business usecases.

We seek aMiddle East Turkey & Africa region focused BD manager forour Global Payment Network Business Development team. This rolewill contribute to the payment networks continued successworldwide. The new hire will play an integral role in driving keyregional business development targets in the Middle East Africa andTurkey region while liaising and building strong connections withthe Middle East Africa and Turkey region BD team and other XFNteams.

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary senior contact pointin the Middle East Africa and Turkey region for channel partnershipdevelopment.
• Develop regional paymentstrategies for business growth and risk management in key marketsincluding KSA UAE and etc.
• Ensure excellentcommunication and internal coordination to rollout new services andenhance partnership taking into account market specificity(regulation competition etc).
• Work closely withregional teams to understand needs and proactively work onsolutions to support business growth.
• Liaisewith HQ teams for commercial strategy product development riskmanagement and other initiatives.
• Conductregular industry analysis and Business Intelligenceresearch.

Qualifications
MinimumQualifications

• Knowledge of thedigital payment industry development and cultures of the MiddleEast Turkey & Africa region and well connected to regionalpayment providers.
• Experience in andunderstanding of payments emoney or wallet products/servicesbanking functions MSBs and/or merchantprocessing.
• Strong balance of both strategicplanning and handson approach is a must. This will be a handsonrole with deep involvement in execution leading from thefront.
• Must possess a cando entrepreneurialdrive focusing on solving problems creatively with a high level ofenergy.
• Demonstrate thought leadershipcommunication skills and team work spirit market presence relatingto best practices and innovation.

Preferred Qualifications
5 years experience asa business professional at a payment/emoney institution bankfintech financial regulatory agency and/or internet companiesmanaging payment services related functions.
