Medical Claims Executive

Job descriptionResponsibilities:


  • Analyze and investigate complicated insurance claims to help prevent fraud.
  • Perform detailed site inspections.
  • If necessary, provide wellinformed court testimonies.
  • Review and process new claims reports and court verdicts.
  • Uphold relationships and communication with insurance departments and clients.
  • Organize and present claim review plans.
  • Negotiate settlements.
  • Resolve claims in a timely manner.
  • Stay uptodate on local, state and federal law changes in the insurance field.
Knowledge required

  • 35 years of experience in insurance, ideally as a broker
  • Knowledge of the insurance and/or insurance broking industries
  • Thorough comprehension of the DHA's regulatory framework for the insurance sector
  • Knowledge of the health insurance sector and experience with customer service. Uphold relationships and communication with insurance departments and clients.
  • The ability to operate under pressure and achieve results in a short period of time.
  • Stay uptodate on local, state and federal law changes in the insurance field.
  • Organize and present claim review plans.
  • Good understanding of insurance claims negotiation and settlement techniques.
  • Resolve claims in a timely manner.
Interpersonal Skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
  • Capable of working under pressure and to short timelines
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to assess others' work
  • Ability to identify areas to improve efficiency, accuracy and analysis and suggest ways of improvement
  • Computer Skills (including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PPT and Word)
