Description

• Must be able to design and analyzeSteel Structure elements of buildings and other steelstructures.
• Must be able to developdetailed design calculations for the steel structures , all steelto steel and steel to concrete connections and get approval fromcontractor, client andconsultants.
• Must be able to reviewshop drawings prepared in Tekla and Autocad and manage themodelling and detailing team.
• Mustbe able to do connection design of complex steel structures forbuildings, warehouses, industrial projects using connectionsoftware such as idea statica or RAM/LIMCON or be able to generateown excel spreadhseets for connectiondesign.
• Can do quantity take off forsteel structures from the Tender/IFC drawingsprovided.
• Create detailed technicaldrawings and specifications for constructionprojects.
• Collaborate witharchitects, contractors, and other professionals to developstructural designs.
• Conduct sitevisits and inspections to assess existing structures and identifypotential issues.
• Performcalculations and simulations to determine the strength andstability of structures.
• Review andapprove design changes and modifications based on projectrequirements.
• Provide guidance andsupport to junior engineers anddrafters.
• Stay updated on industrystandards, codes, and regulations related to structuraldesign.
• Coordinate with projectteams to ensure timely completion of designdeliverables.
• Communicate andpresent design concepts and proposals to clients andstakeholders.

The job requirements of this role-

• Minimum of a Bachelor'sdegree in Civil Engineering or a relatedfield.
• Must be well versed in STADDPRO/ETABS software for Steel structureDesign.
• Must be familiar withAmerican and British Steel DesignCodes.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.)license is preferred.
