    Description

    • Maintain the confidentiality of all aspects of client and employee information. Provide support to the maintenance team in raising and closing active requests and scheduled work requests within the service desk.
    • Use the service desk system to raise purchase orders and process associated invoices that are posted as needed.
    • Evaluate situations and events (e.g. involvement of other employees, public, etc.) for the purpose of taking appropriate action and/or directing them to the appropriate person for resolution.
    • Interact with employees, customers, suppliers and visitors. Open, sort and distribute responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries.
    • Provide support to the Facilities Manager in maintaining supplier matrices and associated documentation. Perform general clerical tasks including, but not limited to, photocopying, faxing, mailing, styling, and filing.
    • Provide support to the Facilities Manager in maintaining training matrices/records and documentation related to return to work/self-certification. Arrange and maintain inventory in connection with the provision of facility management services.
    • Maintain a variety of records, supplies, calendar, schedules, files, etc. Maintains records (confidential and non-confidential), general clerkships, and special programs (e.g. tabulating, copying, fax, etc.) for the purpose of supporting the assigned official with necessary materials.
    • Process documents and materials (e.g., bid packages, contracts, specifications, purchase orders, mail, etc.) for the purpose of disseminating information in accordance with program, county, state, and/or federal requirements.
    • Respond to inquiries from a variety of internal and external parties (in person and by telephone) (e.g., employees, auditors, other department heads, etc.) for the purpose of providing information, facilitating communication between parties, and/or guiding direction.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering.
    • Internationally or locally recognized membership in an organization of engineers.
    • Possess a valid driving license in the United Arab Emirates

    Knowledge, skill and ability:

    • Skills required to perform multiple tasks, with the need to upgrade skills periodically to meet changing working conditions. Skills-based skills required to perform job functions satisfactorily include operating standard office equipment including use of related software applications; Apply program and district policies and procedures; Planning and project management; Prepare and maintain accurate records.#J-18808-Ljbffr
