    Education andExperience

    • Bachelor'sDegree, preferably in Supply Chain Management or Logistics, orscientific/ engineering degree from an accredited university highlydesired.
    • US Customs Broker's License,Preferred
    • Certified US Import ComplianceOfficer (CUISCO), Certified US Export Compliance Officer (CUSECO),Certified ITAR Professional (CIP), Certified International TradeManager (CITM), or equivalent verifiableexperience.
    • Excellent working knowledge ofregulations that affect exports of goods from the U.S., including,but not limited to Export Administration Regulations, Foreign TradeRegulations, International Traffic in Arms Regulations and Officeof Foreign Assets ControlsRegulations.
    • Understands and interprets exportlicensing and export control classifications (ECCN/USML) todetermine the restrictions and licensing requirementsapplicable.
    • Sound knowledge of cargo handlingprocedures and ocean/air carrier capabilities and sufficientknowledge of motor, rail, air, and ocean operations to arrange fortransportation of material.
    • Significantknowledge of current import and export trade compliance laws andregulations.
    • Familiar with "deemedexport rules" and will establish, together with HumanResources and the Trade Compliance Group, proper procedures forcompliance with them.
    • Knowledgeable of Title 19CFR (Customs Regulations), OFAC, DFAR, FTR, NRC andEAR.
    • Knowledge of ERP computer systems (SAPpreferred) and export control related computersystems.
    • Ability to:
    • meetall requirements to attain Corporate Empowered Officialappointment.
    • independently apply for exportlicenses and to monitor compliance with license conditions and keepgood internal records of exportlicenses.
    • communicate effectively and tactfullywith P&L staff as well as business managers and HRstaff.
    • effectively train ASC personnel in tradecompliance program, policies, andprocedures.
    • Proficient with business softwareapplications.
    • Typically, at least eight (8)years of experience in all phases of export trade compliance,related documentation, and systems. Direct experience implementingcompany programs to comply with US traderegulations.
    • Typically, at least three (3)years of experience in working with a U.S. Customs Broker toarrange and coordinate the import of goods into theU.S.
    • Typically, at least five (5) years ofexperience in procurement, logistics or supply chain services andrelated documentation and systems. Direct work experience in supplychain and transportation. Oil and gas industry experiencepreferred.
    • Experience conducting and/orassisting with Commodity Jurisdiction and Classificationdeterminations preferred.
    • Experience withexports of defense services and softwarepreferred.
    • Must be able to comprehend andcommunicate accurately, clearly, and concisely inEnglish.
