    Description

    Plant Operator Role Overview

    The InterContinental Residence Suites Dubai Festival City seeks a dedicated Plant Operator - Engineering to join our team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Respond to and resolve maintenance issues and guest requests related to engineering.
    • Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment and tools.
    • Monitor and program energy management systems to optimize efficiency.
    • Maintain water quality and pool operations in accordance with local guidelines.
    • Identify and operate all utility shut-offs and valves.
    • Manage maintenance inventory and requisition necessary supplies.
    • Troubleshoot HVAC, water, and electrical equipment.
    • Log and analyze equipment performance and energy consumption data.
    • Lead safety inspections and emergency response activities.
    • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

    Requirements and Qualifications

    • Ability to effectively respond to maintenance needs and guest inquiries.
    • Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety procedures.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Relevant certifications and licenses, including forklift license (if applicable).
