1.
JOB PURPOSE


Closely work with Buyer to support with all procurement related tasks such as managing purchase orders, monitoring inventory and providing administrative support.

Also work closely with vendors and keep track of market trends.


2.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/KNOWLEDGE

  • Graduate degree
  • 2 years' experience in retail industry
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills. Driving License is an added advantage.
  • Working experience in SAP, Vistex and proficiency in Microsoft office
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure

3. COMMUNICATION AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Close communication with Buyer, vendors and retail stores


4. KEY DIMENSIONS AND RELATED JOB RESULTS

  • Assist Buyer for selecting right product mix
  • Preparing, placing and tracking purchase orders
  • Preparing, placing and tracking Airfreight orders and distribution
  • Ensuring products are purchased at right time and at right price
  • Ensure to maintain expected margins
  • Maintain vendor contracts in vistex system
  • Planning, monitoring and maintaining suitable inventory levels
  • Preparing forecast based on purchasing trends
  • Compiling reports on product performance and statistics

5. OPERATING ENVIRONMENT

  • Job location might change based on business requirement. Job holder may be relocated to any department
  • The working environment is sometimes physically demanding of time such as working long hours, working on weekends and holidays

Salary:
AED5, AED6,000.00 per month
