JOB PURPOSE
Closely work with Buyer to support with all procurement related tasks such as managing purchase orders, monitoring inventory and providing administrative support.
2.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/KNOWLEDGE
- Graduate degree
- 2 years' experience in retail industry
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills. Driving License is an added advantage.
- Working experience in SAP, Vistex and proficiency in Microsoft office
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
3. COMMUNICATION AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Close communication with Buyer, vendors and retail stores
4. KEY DIMENSIONS AND RELATED JOB RESULTS
- Assist Buyer for selecting right product mix
- Preparing, placing and tracking purchase orders
- Preparing, placing and tracking Airfreight orders and distribution
- Ensuring products are purchased at right time and at right price
- Ensure to maintain expected margins
- Maintain vendor contracts in vistex system
- Planning, monitoring and maintaining suitable inventory levels
- Preparing forecast based on purchasing trends
- Compiling reports on product performance and statistics
5. OPERATING ENVIRONMENT
- Job location might change based on business requirement. Job holder may be relocated to any department
- The working environment is sometimes physically demanding of time such as working long hours, working on weekends and holidays
Salary:
AED5, AED6,000.00 per month
