    • Has a deep understanding of thestandards, measurable elements and intents of theJCI
    • Maintains continuous knowledge andunderstanding of JCIA functions andstandards.
    • Developing University HospitalSharjah Quality ImprovementProgram
    • Participating effectively inImplementing & Follows up of Q.I. PlanActivities.
    • Orchestrating Quality ImprovementInitiatives & ActivitiesHospital-Wide.
    • Serves as a resource to alldepartments, divisions and units, hospital and ambulatory, andestablished committees in all areas relating to QualityAssurance.
    • Promotes and facilitatescost-effective resource utilization related to infection controlpolicies and procedures.
    • Establishes prioritiesfor investigation of problem areas based on the degree of adverseimpact on patient care that can be expected if the problem remainsunresolved.
    • Develops effective patient carereview and evaluation mechanisms and monitors to assure results areachieved.
    • Directs implementation andmaintenance of technical guidelines and frameworks within whichquality of care is evaluated.
    • Arranges withQuality Facilitators throughout UHS for staffeducation,
    • Varied collection andanalysis.
    • Establishes system-wide variationdatabase for benchmarking, system
    • improvementopportunities, Length of stay and resourcemanagement.
    • Provides ongoing assessment andsupport for continuous quality improvement, quality assurance andrisk management , safety culture for the Hospitals priorityprograms and support itsinfrastructure.
