AG Resources is looking for
Analyst Project Management Officer (PMO) for our reputable client in
Abu Dhabi.

Key Accountabilities:


Strategy Contribution:

Ensures alignment of project reporting with ADX strategic priorities


Guidance:


Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures:


Follow PMO Department policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of assigned job responsibilities so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements, fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.


Continuous Improvement:

Continuously identify improvement related to the job specific responsibilities.


Reporting:

Ensure that all reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet ADX requirements, policies, and quality standards.


Risk & Issue Management:

Responsible for consolidated Risk & Issue Log across projects in
OnePlan based on Weekly Status Reports

Support Manager to track programs' risks, issues and commitments and collect information on program status.

Provide program reports, performance status and benefits.


Project reporting management:

Prepares POMC presentation based on the Weekly Status Reports highlighting program progress, milestones, challenges, escalated issues and risks, budget and resourcing health check, and key decisions required from the Steering Committee

Assist Director in agenda and minutes preparation for governance sessions.


Change Request Management:

Establishes related templates.

Supports establishment of CRs

Tracks and maintain Change Requests in the CR Log

Monitors CR progress through the approval and implementation process.

Support Manager to manage change variation orders and oversee vendor compliance with contracts.


Project Financials Management:

Updates project financials in terms of budget allocated, budget committed, estimate to complete and budget available for projects.

Establishes Monitoring of Project Financials and provides regular update to Manager, Director & CTSO


Quality Management:

Consolidates project compliance list into Project Master Tracker

Conducts project quality review for new projects and ongoing projects.

Undertake compliance checks on projects' adherence to PMO standards/ methodologies.


Document Management:

Ensure documentation is created as per the agreed list of projects deliverables.

Ensure documents are stored in the document repository as required.

Establish Monitoring of Documents Management and provides regular update to Manager, Director & CTSO

Support the smooth operation of the key governance processes and forums.

Maintain an effective document management and control process. Dependency Management

Track and monitor the dependencies in the dependency log.

Review with PMs and escalate to the Manager/Director where required.


ADQ Scorecard Reporting:

Provides input & support as requested by Manager/Director


ADX Risk & Audit log:

Holds ADX Audit & Risk log.

Establishes Monitoring of Audit & Risk status and provides regular update to Manager, Director & CTSO


Direct Project Management:

Responsible to adhere to PMO standards & processes. Benefit Realization

Provides support in producing reports and dashboards to management for benefits realization tracking.


Develop PMO Standards & Methodologies:

Responsible to adhere to portfolio standards, methodologies, and tools. PMO supports training and coach key stakeholders to adhere to PMO standards and methodologies.


Responsible for supporting training and coaching of key stakeholders including the onboarded project managers to adhere to PMO standards and methodologies.


Departmental Responsibility:


This position may be assigned to perform any additional tasks or related duties as may be required by the line manager and in line with business requirements.


Qualification & Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in one of the following majoring in Project Management, Operations Management, Strategic Management or equivalent.

Essential Qualification/certifications:
Project Management Certification such as PMP or PRINCE 2 are preferred.

Must have Minimum 5 years' experience in PMO roles and 2 years in direct project management.

Proven experience in People Management with knowledge and experience of best practice project management methodologies and techniques to provide sound advice and support to Project Owners and Sponsors

Strong English communication skills - Verbal and Writing

Strong proficiency in creating WSRs, presentations, dashboards using MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint. Proficiency in Power BI would be an asset.

Sound decision making and Problem-solving skills.

Negotiation skills with ability to resolve conflict situations.
