- Develop and implement strategicfinance communications plans to amplify the company'snarrative regarding its financial positioning, business focus andstrategic direction to internal and externalaudiences.
- Partner with finance andenterprise-wide stakeholders to develop optimal strategies thatensure clear and consistent approaches to managing thecommunications around IPOs, M&A, restructurings, earningscommunications, and other financial disclosures and regulatoryissues.
- Develop and execute overallcommunication and engagement activities in support of thestrategies and priorities of the company and financefunction.
- Elevate the financial communicationsfunction by providing subject and industry matterexpertise.
- Manage executive communication,including supporting agency-wide events, initiatives and meetings,and developing leaders as official spokespersons for theconsultancy.
- Develop and maintain relationshipswith key financial media, sell-side analysts, trade media,influential stakeholder, and communicationpartners.
- Achieve established business andprofessional objectives.
- Lead teams aroundbusiness development opportunities in the capital markets andmanage proposal process ensuring accurate scoping/budgeting ofopportunity.
- Establish and manage a network oftrusted relationships within investment banks in the region for newbusiness development.
- Pitch APCO /Camarco's capital markets capabilities to funds andcompanies in the region to generate newbusiness.
- Establish strong cross-regionalnetwork and engage in productive exchanges with colleagues topromote knowledge sharing and business opportunities, promoting theskills of others.
- Work seamlessly with theCamarco team in London. Camarco is APCO's newly acquiredcapital market communications division with a mandate to grow thecapital markets offering at APCOglobally.
- Confidently lead internal and clientmeetings, offering knowledgeable observations and suggestions;establishing credibility by insights shared; encouraging andmotivating others to communicate ideas.
- Serveas principal client contact; knows when to leverage senior levelrelationships within APCO to further build the relationship withinthe client organization.
- Proactively identifyand participate in external meetings and trainings to enhancesector knowledge and contacts.
- Demonstrate anunderstanding of effective project management, can effectivelyaddress issues, and understands how account engagements tie toAPCO's business management.
- Maintainawareness of company initiatives and actively promotes them withintheir project teams.
- Demonstrate performance ingrowing clients organically and newprospects.
- Share opportunities across thenetwork looking for the best resources to service theaccount(s).
