A leading Tourism company in Dubai is looking for Light Vehicle Drivers who can join immediately.

Driving:

The primary duty of a light vehicle driver is to operate and drive a light vehicle safely and responsibly, following all traffic rules and regulations.


Vehicle Maintenance:


Route Planning:

Plan and determine the most efficient routes for transportation, taking into consideration factors like traffic, weather conditions, and delivery schedules.


Loading and Unloading:
Assist with loading and unloading cargo or passengers, as necessary. Ensure that all items are secure and properly arranged for transportation.


Safety:
Prioritize safety at all times, both for oneself and for passengers or cargo. Use seatbelts, follow speed limits, and maintain a high level of attentiveness while driving.


Customer Service:
If the job involves transporting passengers, provide excellent customer service by being courteous, helpful, and professional. Address passenger needs and concerns.


Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and trip logs. Some employers may require drivers to complete daily or trip-specific logs.


Communication:


Compliance:
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation laws and regulations. This may include obtaining the necessary licenses and permits.


Emergency Response:
Be prepared to respond to emergencies, accidents, or breakdowns. Follow established procedures for reporting incidents and seeking assistance when needed.


Time Management:

Manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines or pick-up schedules, and adjust plans as necessary in the event of delays.


Documentation:

Ensure that all necessary documents, such as driver's licenses, vehicle registration, insurance, and delivery receipts, are up to date and readily available.


Adherence to Company Policies:
Follow the policies and procedures set forth by the employer, including dress code, behavior standards, and safety protocols.


Physical Fitness:

Maintain good physical health, as driving can be a physically demanding job that may involve sitting for long periods and occasional lifting and carrying of items.


Requirements are as per below-

  • Age - Below 35
  • Valid UAE driving license
  • Nationality - Asian
  • Driving Experience - 3 / 5 years
  • Previous Experience - Tourism Industry ( Minimum 2 year ) with knowledge of Groups Tours / Transfers / Staff Transportation.
  • Language - English Speaking - Additional language is an advantage.
  • Area Knowledge - DXB / AUH/ FUJ / RAK mandatory.
  • Salary Package - Aed.1,750 + Incentive + Overtime + Review

Salary:
From AED1,750.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

License/Certification:

  • Valid UAE driving license (preferred)
