    Summary

    Theduties of the Lease Administration department involve abstractinglease documents, tracking critical dates, analyzing tenantconditions, coordinating the monthly rental charge process,reconciliation audits and other projects/analysis as needed. Thisis an entry level position requiring daily presence in a corporateoffice environment located in Syracuse,NY.

    Essential Duties AndResponsibilities

    • Abstract, interpret and maintainretail lease documents
    • Ensure all lease-relatedtransactions (monthly rent, insurance, CAM, taxes) are reviewed andproperly recorded and balanced
    • Prepare rentvariance analysis for monthly reporting and annualbudgeting
    • Analyze leases and tenant economicscenarios, gather thoughtful conclusions and presentrecommendations to senior management
    • Performmonthly tenant billings, rent roll changes and rentprojections
    • Apply basic ledger functions suchas payments and charges
    • Track critical dates asthey pertain to lease-related clauses and landlorddeadlines
    • Resolve landlord/tenant issues thatrelate to lease language and rentcharges
    • Analyze account ledgers and initiatecontact with tenants to collect arrears and/or reconcileoutstanding balances
    • Prepare financialreforecasts, budgets and annualreconciliations
    • Adhere to strict deadlines andprioritize multiple tasks
    • Ability to understandand interpret complex lease language anddata
    • Assist in special projects asassigned
    • Perform other duties asrequired

    • Positivelyand proactively collaborate with colleagues in any way needed tofurther the leasing and marketing of mall properties to achieve,sell and provide world-class service to all ourconstituents
    • Maintain Client confidence andprotect operations by keeping proprietary informationconfidential

    Qualifications

    • AS/BS in Accounting, Finance orBusiness related field or 1-2 years of experience in businessenvironment
    • Proficient computer skills, MSExcel experience preferred
    • Strong analyticalskills with an interest in expanding financial analysisskills
