Position Summary:

Management of the operation and services activities of the location assigned, keeping excellent client relationship, a safe work environment, and responsible for planning and carrying out new projects in the area.

AMS and Major Maintenance responsible.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Keeps and optimize the production level goals establish by the client.
  • Oversees that HSE and operational procedures are followed considering Exterran's guidelines.
  • Elaborates presentations to the Managers about the business result in the location / Projects assigned.
  • Review of the location / project operation and administrative cost.
  • Supervises the employees under charge. Accountable for their collaborators development.
  • Reports major engine maintenance and reviews the work orders and parts required.
  • Major Maintenance and AMS services planning and execution
  • Control of the vehicular units under charge.
  • Responsible for the training in site of the Trainee Engineers.
  • Reviews the daily and monthly operational reports submitted by the Area or Plant Supervisors.
  • Provides the resources required by the Supervisors to develop their job.
  • Keep the communication lines between the managers and staff personnel.
  • Attends to all client or internal meetings.
  • Accountable for the ISO Standard implementation and operative excellence in their area.

Required Education

Preferred Education

  • Mechanic, Electrical or Electronic Engineer, with at least five (5) years in similar job positions.
  • Deep Knowledge in Gas processes, Mechanic of Motor Compressors (Waukesha, Ariel, Caterpillar, White Superior, AT 25)
  • Main Competencies: Team Working, Effective communications, Analytical capability, personnel development, selfmotivation and selfcontrol, Supervising, Initiative, Focus on, Planning and problem solving, Costumer focus.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Bilingual (English, Spanish),
- computer package (Word, Excel, Power Point)

  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement philosophy.

Physical Demands

  • Requires employee to frequently type and use a computer and other office equipment, such as copier, printer, calendar, telephones, etc.
  • Requires operation of heavy equipment, such as forklift on a rare frequency
  • Requires employee to stand for at least 75% of the time
  • Requires employee to sit for at least 25% of the time
  • Requires employee to constantly climb stairs or ladders to inspecting, repairing and painting equipment and must be able to maintain balance on stairs or ladders without assistance.
  • Must be able to communicate and respond to: coworkers, customers and emergency cues/alarms, in person and on the telephone, including use of mobile devices
  • Must be able to frequently lift at least # 5pounds
  • Requires work in outdoor conditions, including Extreme heat, extreme cold, unairconditioned facility, snow, sandstorms, sun exposure, strong wind
  • Requires work on loud environment
  • Requires moving and maintaining self in different positions stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
  • Must wear all required PPE, including fireretardant clothing, helmets, face shields, hearing protection, safety goggles, steeltoed boots, as applicable.
  • Position requires travel 10% of the time
  • Position requires employee drive 25 % of the time, 5% permanent in one location
