    Director of MarketingThe overall scope of the Director of Marketing is to assist the Director of Sales & Marketing to position and promote the hotel and its outlets as the market leader through marketing activities as well as to ensure compliance with the brand Kempinski

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategy & Budget:

    • Under the supervision of the Director of Sales & Marketing, create the hotel media and marketing plan.
    • Implement media and marketing plan and coordinate with agencies.
    • Determine overall marketing campaign ROI.
    • Monitor and review response rates to improve and take corrective measures.
    • Responsible for developing and maintaining the hotel Marketing budget.
    Collateral, Direct Marketing &

    Content Management:

    • Oversee creation and production of collaterals (digital and print) in line with Corporate Identity.
    • Pro-actively promote Rooms, Food and Beverage, Banquet/Conferences, and other activities for potential business sources.
    • Plan and create promotions and packages with relevant departments.
    • Conduct market analysis regularly and before outlet opening/re-positioning.
    • Oversee planning, coordination, and implementation of direct marketing, online and offline.
    • Maintain and develop guest database for mailings.
    • Coordinate give-aways and collateral.
    • Ensure updated hotel information on relevant platforms.

    Advertising/Photography:

    • Plan and direct photo-shootings for marketing and advertising purposes.
    • Implement advertising plan in strategic markets and supervise ROI.
    • Maintain picture storage and distribution systems.
    • Ensure content and photography of 3rd party websites is maintained.
    • Ensure hotel has necessary photo rights on all media used.

    Brand:

    • Ensure compliance with Corporate Identity guidelines.
    • Act as brand custodian for hotel and Kempinski brand.
    • Review and approve all creatives by Corporate Marketing before proceeding.
    • Coordinate between hotel, Corporate Marketing, and agencies.
    • Maintain corporate marketing guidelines and inform colleagues.

    General:

    • Communicate and coordinate with internal departments, agencies, and suppliers.
    • Contribute to sharing best Marketing practices within the organization.
    • Bring ideas and participate in promotional events and activities.
    • Follow sales and marketing results and propose corrective actions.
    • Take part in marketing training programmes.
    • Stay informed on competition, industry benchmarks, and market trends.
    • Network with colleagues in the hospitality and tourism industries.
    Additional responsibilities and tasks may be added as needed by the business and the hotel.
