    As a Portfolio Lead – RotatingEquipment, you will be a technical specialist providing valuableinsights for assigned regional tenders and projects. Your roleextends to advancing state of the art power electronics, powersystems and power converter technologies as well as developcommercialization opportunities with the regional NOV businesses.Join us and play a crucial part in training regional engineerswhile optimizing equipment technology for enhanced performance andreduced environmentalimpact.

    Duties &Responsibilities

    • Deep SpecialistKnowledge:
      • Develop profound expertise onassigned equipment (pumps, compressors,etc.)
      • Collaborate with the Head of Procurementto define dedicated equipment needs and identify preferredsuppliers, ensuring decisions are made with proper riskmitigation.
    • RegionalTenders and Projects:
      • Prepare technical biddocuments based on process datasheets, client specifications, andindustry codes and standards for assigned regionaltenders.
      • Drive the approved technical equipmentdefinition in collaboration with the tenderteam.
      • Identify and engage with the rightsuppliers, following up with selected suppliers and planning auditswhen necessary.
    • RegionalProjects:
      • Review equipment dedicatedspecifications for regional projects.
      • Ensurethe approved technical equipment definition aligns with projectrequirements.
      • Verify specifications, datasheets, technical bids, and purchase orders, resolving technicalqueries from vendors.
      • Plan and participate inall required projectinspections.
    • EquipmentDevelopment:
      • Act as a Project Manager,coordinating with all disciplines.
      • Optimizeequipment technology to enhance performance while reducingmanufacturing, CO2 emissions, and energyconsumption.
    • Certificationand Quality Processes:
      • Manage initial electricalcertification of the equipment.
      • Monitorequipment certification renewals and stay abreast of electricalnorm certification evolution.
      • Offer technicalsupport for equipment fabrication quality processes, includingperforming internal quality audits and piloting qualityprocesses.
    • Client andProject Response:
      • Provide timely and qualityresponses to clients and P&L centers in commercialprojects.
      • Recognize and address problems anddiscrepancies in work processes, offering recommendations forimprovement.
    • IndustryKnowledge:
      • Maintain a strong understanding ofindustry standards and the competition landscape for assignedequipment.

    Qualifications

    • BSc or MSc degree in ElectricalEngineering (essential)
    • 10+ years of industryexperience (essential)

    Experience

    • Minimum of 5 years'experience writing specifications, performing equipment selections,studies, requisitions, technical bid evaluation and vendor documentreviews (essential)
