Description

The Financial Controller oversees and controls the financial, commercial, and marketing operations of the Regional office while optimizing business strategy.

Main responsibilities:

Support the ongoing business/long-term plan forecast

Define, design the yearly budget path (Budget Procedures & Guidelines, budget data analysis & synthesis, 'Annual closure' preparation, follow-up & implementation with different stakeholders - Distributors, Commercial & Marketing teams, and HQ).

Track monthly/quarterly the business results, actuals spending & incomes, underspending/overspending vs targets and issue recommendations to the Area Manager in case of any gaps to reach annual company targets.

Be able to develop, track, and follow a budget
Provide accurate financial data useful for Regional business development.
Formalize and report financial data (P&L, variance analysis) to pilot the firm.
Improve the budgeting tools (reporting tools, dashboards, KPI tracking...)
Be extremely organized to stick to the deadlines for sharing reports with the regional team and local partners

Work in a versatile & multicultural team & business environment, interacting with local & international colleagues, partners & clients
Relation builder (excellent social skills), networker, able to bring people together
Must speak and write fluent English; French and Arabic a plus.
Minimum 5-10 years' budget control/financial management experience.
Excel, Word, PPT proficient.
