Role Intro - We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as an Estimator who can providing cost-effective solutions to ensure successful project execution in furniture and fixture industry, interior fittings and the manufacturing of exhibition stands, mall podiums, event stages, and mall activations.

This position offers an exciting opportunity for an individual who is knowledge & expertise in Cost Estimation, project plans and drawings, collaboration, and negotiation with vendors/suppliers in furniture and fixture industry, interior fittings, advertising, and the manufacturing of exhibition stands, mall podiums, event stages, and mall activations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation by analysing project requirements, including architectural and design drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents to determine the materials, labor, equipment, and time required for each project.
• Performing quantity takeoffs from project plans and drawings to determine the quantities of materials and resources needed for construction. This includes identifying the types and quantities of furniture, fixtures, fittings, structural components, and other materials required for each project.
• Collaborating with vendors and suppliers to gather accurate and uptodate pricing information for materials, equipment, and services required for each project.
• Negotiating with suppliers to obtain competitive prices and ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
• Conducting detailed cost analysis by considering factors such as labor costs, equipment expenses, material prices, subcontractor costs, overheads, and profit margins.
• Preparing bid proposals and cost breakdowns for potential clients based on the project requirements. The estimator ensures that the bids are accurate, competitive, and align with the company's pricing strategies.
• Monitoring and tracking project costs throughout the lifecycle of each project, comparing actual costs against estimated costs.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field is often preferred, although relevant experience can substitute for formal education.
• Proven experience in estimating or cost control within the furniture and fixture industry or related fields. (Min5 years)
• Knowledge of industryspecific software and tools, such as computeraided design (CAD), Adobe suite, Photoshop, and other estimating software.
• Strong understanding of construction techniques, interior design concepts, including space planning, materials selection, finishes, materials, and methods related to furniture and fixture manufacturing and installation.
• Ability to accurately interpret architectural and engineering drawings, as well as technical documents and specifications.
• Attention to Detail i.e. keen eye for detail to ensure accurate quantity takeoffs, cost calculations, and bid preparation.

Salary Range:
AED/Month + Visa + Insurance + Accomodation
