• 4 year engineering degree(Electrical, Electronic or similar) or equivalent. ProfessionalEngineer certification is preferred.
• 10+ yearsexperience in designing, implementing and/or managing SCADA controlsystems and components in the 24x7 continuous process drainage,sewer or water utility industry.
• Hands-onexperience in the design of SCADA systems and demonstrable workexperience on at least 4 major SCADA projects with a minimum of 3major SCADA projects.
• Demonstrable knowledge ofstructured programming, SCADA communication techniques andprotocols. Knowledge and application of all instrumentation relatedstandards, codes and regulations; working knowledge of DCS, PLC andSCADA/HMI control system software, hardware and architecture.Wonderware experience is preferred.
• Knowledgeof profibus, Modbus, OPC & industrial Ethernet networks aremandatory. Expert Knowledge of database & reporting toolsare mandatory. Knowledge of fiber optics installations and CiscoFirewalls/routers/switches in the automation network layer ismandatory. SIEMENS PLC/SCADA and Honeywell PLC/Experion DCSexperience preferred.
• Developed interpersonaland communications skills, including the ability to interacteffectively with multicultural teams.
• Abilityto work effectively and diligently as an individual and team memberto resolve complex faults on criticalequipment.
• Ability to prepare and presenttechnical and non-technicaldocumentation.
• Proven ability to perform in akey technical leadership role, good written and oral communicationsskills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices andregulations are also required. In addition, must be knowledgeableof current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on theproject.
