    Thisrole will encompass a range of responsibilities including but notlimited to:

    • Technical support to internal CSLproduct teams in the development, sales and support of IoTpropositions and Customer solutions.
    • Pre-salessupport and services to CSL sales functions, providing high qualitytechnical interfaces to internal/external customers andsuppliers.
    • Investigating technical incidentsand providing remedies where necessary, taking proactive ownershipof technical supplier equipment/serviceproblems.
    • Co-ordinating 3rd party suppliers inthe resolution of more complex IoT issues including MobileOperators, hardware manufacturers, platform providersetc.
    • Design/build of secure customer routerconfigurations, utilising internal platforms to provision, test andactivate.
    • Deployment and management ofcustomer/product trials and pilots.
    • Generationof technical documentation (manuals, product specifications,requirements definitions, guides, plans etc) whererequired.
    • Maintaining strong technicalrelationships with key Customer/Suppliers/Partners, keeping abreastof their latest developments andtrends.
    • Evaluating new products/propositions,assessing their technical suitability andviability.
    • Working with operations and servicedelivery on product developments/enhancement and ensuring theirreadiness for business take on and in-lifesupport.
    • Maintain detailed knowledge ofinfrastructure/applications, processes, technologies, markets,billing platforms and developments.
    • To beexperienced and fully competent in own areas and to share thisexpertise with others, providing guidance andsupport.
    • Provide out of hours support forescalated issues as part of an on-callrota.
    • Travel if required for Customerpresentations/installations/events etc.

    KeySkills & Qualifications Sought:

    • Must have good in-depth knowledge andexperience of IP networking, including design, delivery andsupport
    • Thorough understanding of IoTenvironment and the associated technologies including 4G/3G/GPRS,IP, VPNs, APNs, RADIUS, SIMs, Broadband, SMS, Network Managementetc.
    • Able to interpret customer needs, assessand document the requirements, and identify solutions to standardand nonstandard opportunities.
    • Must possessstrong communication skills, a strong work ethic, high energy andenthusiasm.
    • Capability to innovate and'think out of the box' to deliver products andsolutions which meet customerrequirements.
    • Able to deliver to tight timesscales and to quickly identify innovative, pragmatic andcost-effective solutions to product/customerissues.
    • Able to explain difficult concepts to avariety of audiences and to ensure that the meaning isunderstood.
