GEMS Founders Al Mizhar School (GFM) is an ever growing value for money National Curriculum of England School which opened in September 2018 modelled on the highly successful GEMS Founders Dubai School.

Job Purpose:

To support the Principal in creating, establishing and managing the aims and objectives of the school, in partnership with students, staff, Corporate office and parents.

Job Scope:

Working alongside the Principal and Head of School, the Deputy Head of Secondary will have overall responsibility for the day-to day and strategic management of the primary/elementary/secondary/high school.

The Head of School will promote the core values and vision of the school, and seek to ensure that they are implemented effectively.

Expected Qualifications:

A Degree and Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent are essential.

Formulating the aims and objectives of the school
Establishing policies for achieving these aims and objectives
Managing staff and resources to that end
Monitoring progress towards the achievement of the school's aims and objectives
Managing budgets and undertake teaching and other professional duties as reasonably delegated by the Principal.
Support the Head of Secondary in leading the Secondary team including performance management.
Assist in shaping & implementing the educational strategy for the school.
