Job Purpose:


The timely production of high-quality and industry-relevant summit and industry talks programs is in line with the needs of the hospitality and design market.

Develop and grow the summit and industry talks programs for the various events in the hospitality portfolio by generating new ideas and topics and confirming industry-leading speakers.


  • Produce industryrelevant summit and industry talks programs
  • Manages the CPD accreditation for the programs delivered
  • Onsite management of summit and industry talks programs is present at the respective events and oversees that the programs are delivered according to plan; also briefs and oversees (temporary) staff involved in the summit and industry talks programs organization
  • Determine the viability of proposed programs from research
  • Identify key opinion leaders/institutions and companies within topic areas
  • Liaise with key professionals/institutions and companies in the production of the summit and industry talks programs
  • Effectively research topics with relevant industry professionals and the target market
  • Independently turn research into an attractive draft summit and industry talks programs
  • Contact suggested and identified speakers and confirm their attendance; also prepare a backup plan in case of lastminute speaker dropouts
  • Maintain existing and build new relationships to pull together a conference or workshop with suitable topics and speakers
  • Consistently produce errorfree programs and work closely with marketing to promote programs and speakers
  • Develop new ideas/plans for programs
  • Work with the related Directors and other team members to produce ideas for content programs
  • Assist in the provision of leads to the sponsorship team
  • Organize hands on workshops alongside our conferences if needed
  • Assist the marketing department in the relevant distribution of marketing material (e.g. brochures) to companies and departments marketing collateral, web marketing, media partners
  • Ensure and provide the latest content for an uptodate summit and industry talks programs promotion
  • Introduce advisory boards and associations and manage existing relationships if needed
  • Perform any other duties as reasonably correspond to the general character of the post and are commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:


  • 35 years' experience in organizing international events and conferences.
  • Conceptual ability to rapidly develop competent knowledge on diverse topics.
  • Networking and information gathering abilities
  • Multitasker
  • Demonstrate fluency in both written and spoken English
  • Copy writing skills
  • Related industry/event knowledge
  • Business experience in the Middle East
  • Understanding database marketing
