RolesandResponsibilities

• Managementof development teams responsible for designing, developing, testingand supporting the software assets in an Agile and Waterfallenvironment
  
• Responsiblefor driving development teams and technical strategy acrossmultiple platforms, including Web, Android, and iOS in multiplelanguages.
  
• Drivethe design and architecture of the software assets to ensure thatit is most up-to-date, leveraging the latest bestpractices
  
• Leadsoftware engineering teams based in various parts of the world (eg.Singapore, Malaysia, China, India) in the development of softwareassets
  
• Drivetechnical vision, technology stack selection and R&D ofemerging technologies as it relates to financial technology andecosystems(API-driven)
  
• Partnerproduct owners and business stakeholders to deliver the necessarydigitalsolutions
  

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science orEngineering
  
• Atleast 10+ years of relevant application development experience ofmission critical systems from scratch, including experience inmobile and web applicationsdevelopment
  
• Experiencein leading the various developmentpractices
  
• Experiencein large-scale development using some of the following technologystack:
  
• Java,Javascript (AngularJS,ReactJS)
  
• iOS,Android, ReactJS (Flux,Redux)
  
• Kafka,Redis, MariaDB, NoSQL, MySQL, MongoDB,Cassandra
  
• Abilityto work in a fast-paced environment both as an individualcontributor and as a technicallead
  
• Extensive,demonstrable experience in building complex consumer facing digitalproducts and internal facing systems across web and mobileapplications in demandingenvironment.
  
• Experiencein a leadership position responsible for building, motivating andleading high performing developmentteams
  
• Abilityto lead high performance technology teams byexample
  
• Knowledgeand hands-on experience in API management platforms, API designstandards, patterns, best-practices, API governance, API securitystandards and implementation (Oauth,OpenId)
  
• Verystrong analytical skills to be able to manage complex problemsusing a number oftechniques.
  
• Abilityto demonstrate influencing and negotiating skills to alignpotentially conflicting views with internal and externalstakeholders.
  
• Effectivelybilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin andEnglish speakingteams.
