- Supervise, organize and planactivities to ensure smooth fabrication and construction ofstructures within the stipulatedschedule.
- Review technical drawings and adviseengineering of any discrepancies before commencement of fabricationworks.
- Ensure that manpower is effectivelydeployed to deliver the productstimely.
- Resolve any technical problems orissues faced at the work site
- Study andevaluate the work sequences and methods of the Department andexplore new ideas to improve quality andproductively
- Liaise with clients'representatives and coordinate with other department supervisorsfor effective coordination of all works.
- Ensurethat Safety, Health and Environmental operating procedures arefollowed and counsel staff about compliance asnecessary
- Ensure an effective safety plan onConstruction Site during construction, pre- commissioning,commissioning and start-up of theProject.
- Seeking consultations with andassistance from the relevant PMC home office disciplines, asrequired.
- Attending construction weekly reviewmeetings and monthly progress meetings and ensure recordsignificant agreements reached and /or joint decisions made betweenall parties.
- Fostering an atmosphere offruitful and active cooperation and team-work between PMC, EPCContractor, and Owner's responsible Construction Sitepersonnel, while maintaining a vigilant attention to the requiredstandards and quality of work.
- Seekingagreements with the Owner on procedure and requirements for closingout EPC Contractor site activities at Construction Sitecompletion.
- Coordinate with Licensor forConstruction Site visits / inspections at constructionsite.
- Review EPC Contractor'sconstruction procedures, specifications, method statements andfabrication drawings.
- Review EPCContractor's construction, organization, coordinationprocedures, manpower plans andschedules.
- Review all matters related toconstructing engineering.
- Monitor theallocation off construction resources in consideration of relativepriorities to meet the construction programs, and recommend anyappropriate corrective action where shortage of resources mightprejudice the program.
- Monitor the planned andactual delivery of equipment and material to site and the handling,storage, maintenance and installation of such equipment andmaterials.
- Review and approval of permit towork and coordination with Owner operations asnecessary.
- Review and Monitor the Workperformed by EPC Contractor and monitor quality and compliance withContract and Project Schedule. Ensure EPC Contractor compliancewith drawings and specifications on all areas of theProject.
- Supervise construction inspectionactivities carried out by EPCContractor.
- Monitor and coordinate thecorrective actions and recommendation of the Construction workperformed by EPC Contractor.
- Verify that thework and corrective work is performed in compliance with the EPCContract and Owner safety regulations and that workmanship of workand corrective work performed is in accordance with appropriatestandards of quality.
- Monitor and audit theprogress of work at site against the Project schedule, usinginformation provided in the EPC Contract and report to Owner anydelays in the work and propose actions to correct suchdelays.
- Approval of the Mechanical Completionand Ready for CommissioningCertificates.
