As an Art Teacher, you will be responsible for fostering creativity, artistic expression, and a love for the visual arts among students.

Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including:


  • Planning and delivering engaging art lessons that cater to students' diverse interests, abilities, and learning styles.
  • Teaching fundamental principles and techniques of various art forms, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media.
  • Providing guidance and encouragement to students as they explore their artistic talents and develop their unique artistic voices.
  • Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes creativity, selfexpression, and artistic experimentation.
  • Incorporating art history, cultural studies, and contemporary art practices into lessons to broaden students' understanding of artistic traditions and contexts.
  • Facilitating handson artmaking experiences and collaborative projects that encourage teamwork, critical thinking, and problemsolving skills.
  • Assessing student artwork through constructive feedback, portfolio reviews, and formal evaluations, and maintaining accurate records of student progress.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and community partners to showcase student artwork through exhibitions, performances, and public events.
  • Integrating technology and digital media into art lessons to enhance students' artistic skills and multimedia literacy.
  • Participating in professional development opportunities to stay updated on current trends, techniques, and best practices in art education.
  • Upholding school policies and procedures, promoting a positive school culture, and contributing to the overall wellbeing of the school community.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field. Master's degree is advantageous.
  • Teaching certification/license (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent) preferred.
  • Prior experience teaching art at the primary or secondary level is desirable.
  • Proficiency in various art mediums, techniques, and art history.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for art education and a commitment to nurturing students' creative potential.
  • Ability to create a safe and inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to express themselves artistically.

Pay:
AED2, AED4,000.00 per month
