    Overview

    AIM OF POSITION

    We are looking for a young, energetic and outgoing candidate who will be responsible for costing, developing, implementing, and improving existing business, and all new business, with key focus on implementation and/or improvements based on technology to support operational systems and processes.

    Responsibilities

    KEY RESPONSIBIITY AREAS

    • Research, design and implement logistics systems and processes to improve new and current operational functions:
    • Work closely with Logistics and Business Development team to assist in costing all new, ad-hoc and existing contracts, to be operational sustainable and financially viable.
    • Research, design and implement technology to improve new and current operational functions and processes.
    • Design and implement turn-key solutions with a strong focus on the integration of Technology, People, Processes and Systems.
    • Develop Business Processes by introducing innovative solutions to current and new clients to enable: Cost Savings, Productivity Improvements, Headcount Reductions, Damage Reductions, Increased Profits.
    • Mapping of Systemic and Operational Processes.
    • Creation of optimal Vehicle Storage Facility Layouts.
    • Developing automated reports, dashboard, KPI's and presentations for company and customer requirements.
    • Implement new contracts/services/sites.
    • Driving continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Develop extensive capabilities in data insights and analytics.
    • Developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures and assist in communicating these to staff:
    • Integrating Technology, People, Process and Systems to provide a premium vehicle logistics solution to customers.
    • Encourage optimal use of internal software and other technological enhancements.
    • Staff training.
    • Developing and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Dashboards.
    • Proven ability to create, analyze and improve business, operational and systemic processes.
    • Required to perform any task as and when required by management.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    • Higher Diploma or Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain; IT; Information Systems; Computer Science or similar.
    • At least 2 years working or industry experience.
    • Strong organizational, planning, analytical and leadership skills.
    • Must be methodical and process driven.
