_The Sous Chef is a key member of the kitchen leadership team, providing essential support to the Executive Chef and overseeing various aspects of kitchen operations.

This role requires culinary expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to ensure the smooth execution of dishes and maintain high standards of food quality.

Here are the key responsibilities of a Sous Chef:

Kitchen Management:

- _Collaborate with the Executive Chef to manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating._
- _Assist in creating and implementing efficient kitchen workflows and processes._

Supervision and Training:

- _Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, chefs, and kitchen assistants._
- _Provide guidance, feedback, and coaching to ensure consistent performance and skill development._

Recipe Execution:

- _Oversee the accurate and consistent execution of recipes, ensuring that each dish meets the restaurant's quality standards._
- _Monitor cooking times, techniques, and presentation to maintain culinary excellence._

Inventory Management:

- _Assist in managing kitchen inventory, including ingredients, supplies, and equipment._
- _Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and ensure proper storage to minimize waste._

Quality Control:

- _Taste and inspect dishes for flavor, texture, and presentation to ensure they meet the restaurant's standards._
- _Address any issues or deviations from recipes promptly and effectively._

Food Safety and Hygiene:

- _Enforce strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with regulations._
- _Monitor kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and proper handling of ingredients._

- _Supervise the kitchen line during service, coordinating the timing and plating of dishes to ensure smooth operations._

Assistance to Executive Chef:

- _Assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Executive Chef._

- _Foster clear and effective communication among kitchen staff and between the kitchen and front-of-house teams._
- _Relay any menu changes, special requests, or updates to the team._

- _Work closely with the front-of-house team to address any guest feedback or preferences._

Salary:
AED7, AED11,000.00 per month
