• Assist in the preparation of doughs, batters, and other bakery items according to recipes and production schedules.
• Operate and maintain bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, and proofers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Execute baking techniques with precision to achieve desired textures, flavors, and appearances for various baked goods including bread, pastries, and desserts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace, including storage areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies, notifying management of any shortages or discrepancies.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times, following proper handling and storage procedures to prevent contamination and ensure product freshness.
• Collaborate with other members of the culinary team to develop new recipes, menu items, and seasonal offerings.
• Assist in the decoration and presentation of baked goods, incorporating creative techniques to enhance visual appeal.
• Follow established portion control guidelines to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
• Support senior bakery staff in training and mentoring junior team members, sharing knowledge and skills to foster growth and development.

• Proven experience working in a bakery or pastry kitchen, preferably in a similar role.
• Formal culinary education or apprenticeship program completion is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently, with attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
• A passion for baking and a dedication to delivering highquality products to customers.
• Certification in food safety and sanitation practices is a plus.
