    • Analysis local market trends andcompetitor activity to identify businessleads
    • Develop customer accounts and travelwithin the local area to drive business into the specifichotel/cluster and to increase market/customer share in all revenuestreams
    • Negotiate room rates/packages withcorporate clients
    • Develop and implementcreative local marketing channels, including social mediachannels
    • Prepare company contracts for thehotel in accordance with current business and pricingconditions
    • Work within current businessstrategies and recognising potentialopportunities
    • Cooperate with other departmentsin the hotel to create an exceptional Guest experience and buildstrong, comprehensive sales programs
    • AttendSales events, as required
    • Produce accurate andtimely reports that meet the needs of the Sales Director and seniormanagement to include the reporting of appointments, calls made andbusiness leads
    • Answer customer queries in aprompt and professional manner
    • Manage staffperformance in compliance with company policies andprocedures
    • Recruit, manage, train and developthe Sales team
