Mathematics Teacher for Elementary - Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Al Ittihad Private School-Al Mamzar
Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a valid teaching certificate/license in content area and/or related field.
- A minimum of two years, current, full time related teaching experience.
- Teaching experience in an American curriculum school is preferred.
- Experience with current best practices, current teaching materials, and current instructional strategies as well as recent professional growth activities.
Mathematics Teacher Responsibilities:
- Strong understanding and implementation of the California State Standards
- Experience in using various mathematical software(s) which would enhance the teaching and learning experience in the classroom.
- Ability to implement Inquiry Based Learning in teaching Mathematics by triggering curiosity and fostering critical thinking skills. Ability to ignite a child's passion and excitement and drives them to want to learn more.
- Experienced in using the graphing calculator is an advantage.
- Support entrepreneurial endeavors.
