    Description

    To perform driving duties per the AmericanHospital Dubai schedules and work rota assignments prepared by thetransportation supervisor. Support Transport Supervisor as and whenrequired and cover his duties during absence. Conduct employee minibus scheduled collections and returns. Complete airportcollection/departure, visa and ministry, bank, laboratory, mail anda wide range of other driving duties as required and UAE-widedriving assignments asscheduled.

    PositionResponsibility:


    •Providesa quantitative and qualitative workethic


    •Maintains the vehicles to therequired standard ofmaintenance


    •Accountable for properusage of sick leave or personal time as per the rules of theHospital


    •Demonstrates consistentdependability in allassignments


    •Conducts safety checksdaily on all vehicles asassigned


    •Always complies with the roadtransport regulations, signage and trafficconditions


    •Successfully carries outassigned duties effectively to the required qualitystandard


    •Serves as a resource for theimplementation of PI/TQM correctiveaction


    •Accountable for follow-upreferrals relating to hissection


    •Ensures that incident reportsare complete and communicated to the QIdepartment


    •Offers recommendations forchange in systems to maximize utilization of personnel andresources


    •Monitors reports andstatistics for areas ofresponsibility


    •Attends to allemergencies and is on call for lab and otherruns


    •Shows an active awareness ofcontinuing QualityImprovement


    •Participates in QIactivities

    PositionQualification:


    •TradeSchool and/or High SchoolGraduate


    •Valid UAE Driving #5 Licensemandatory


    •Knowledge of JCIAstandards


    •Must have the ability to readand writeEnglish

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • TradeSchool and/or High School Graduate
    • Valid UAEDriving License
