***: The Marketing Manager will be responsible for all brands, and the expansion of the business in the future. The Marketing Manager will be hands-on at the Head Office and Sites when required. This role is expected to have close relationships with Operations, General Managers and Head Chefs and spend a proportion of their time in the venues to ensure that sales and marketing becomes an extension of the site management team and to maximize effectiveness of sales and marketing opportunities.


POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES POSITION DUTIES:

  • Sales and Marketing plans
  • internal and external
  • Drive sales and customer footfall through all marketing and PR channels to support brands and exceed monthly sales targets
  • Create a 12month pulsing plan for the brand, including promotions, offers, and general sales initiatives to drive and support sales throughout the week
  • Develop loyalty marketing initiatives to increase frequency, footfall and repeat business
  • Develop online affiliates and promotional plans as appropriate to the brands
  • Ensure all the brands, stays ahead of social media and their digital marketing strategy (Facebook, brand websites, food & drinks and life style blogs, etc)
  • Grow our Corporate Sales strategy assist site managers to instigate relationships with local businesses to drive trading.
  • Grow our concierge strategy assist site managers/head of reservation & reception to engage with key relevant concierges to drive tourist traffic to the site
  • Support the growth of our PR plan appropriate to the brand and manage and monitor execution
  • Strong understanding of sales breakdown and key contributors (covers/spend per head etc) across each venue
  • Aim to increase databases through internal and external initiatives
  • Ensure monthly marketing and operations meetings have actionable and measurable targets against marketing
  • Competitor analysis, which includes the following:
  • Awareness of local competition as well as key competitors in our market (new and existing) and new openings, including price, promotion, place and product
  • Ongoing research and awareness of trends
  • Database marketing
  • Review competitive pricing and report back on an ongoing basis
  • Brand Management
  • Manage internal and external expression of brand design/tone of voice
  • Menus, Signage, Digital content, all customerfacing material
  • Uniforms, music and involvement in staff training where the brand needs to be expressed
  • Development of partnerships with suitable 3rd parties to develop and enhance the brand
  • Manage related internal communications
  • Budget and measurement
  • Measurement of all marketing activities in terms of cost and effectiveness
  • Provide monthly performance analysis, marketing and corporate sales results to your line manager for the purpose of the board report and adhoc projects as required

  • Implement customer satisfaction surveys and measures that are meeting consumer needs

  • Develop successful propositions to maximize all revenue center of our business to increase footfall
  • Develop new growth areas when where possible
  • Develop a 'private dining' strategy to grow sales
  • Develop live booking systems and affiliate partnerships

JOB REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Management, or a similar course
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
  • At least 3 years experience in a Marketing management role in hospitality. Europe / GCC marketing experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly creative, with excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills are required.
  • Strong technical understanding, and preferably usage, of Microsoft including Windows, Windows Phone, Office, Skype, Bing and others.
  • Selfmotivated and directed person, requiring mínimal supervision for successful assignment completion
