About the role

Organizational:

Follow all relevant financial policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner

Operational:

Implement activities under mínimal supervision
Prepare analysis and recommendations on monthly financial figures from business units compared to budget and last year and issue reports as required by the management. Analyze financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry and economic conditions for use in making decisions.
Provide analysis and recommendations on annual and revised budgets, challenge assumptions and propose revisions. Prepare operating budgets based on previous figures or estimated revenue and expense reports, and using the Zero-Base Budgeting methodology selectively for priority area
Build and manage a comprehensive KPI's model (Financial & Business) in line with Company's objectives and captures all relevant info needed to manage the business. Analyze and followup of all management and financial indicators.
Prepare the Monthly P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow statement, comparing the result with the Budget and the revised Budget for relevant Business Units. Run a GAP analysis to maintain financial standards as budgeted and process revisions
Support the accounting team in the monthly closing process, preparation of journal entries, a compilation of financial statements and analysis of financial activity
Maintain knowledge and stay abreast of developments in the fields of business, finance, and economic theory, to drive continuous improvement of financial reports and to evaluate their impact on the business
Prepare and monitor the performance of internal rate of return (IRR) and Net Present Value (NPV) studies for new technological acquisition or development, proposed outlets and new products
Participate in projects such as:
Implementation of Budgeting, reporting, consolidation and analytics
Implementation of a monitoring tool for cash flow and cash management
Participate in relevant projects and community activities as and when needed
