Our client a leadingsemigovernment hospital is currently looking for Staff Nursesspecialized in Pediatric patients to be based in Dubai. In thisrole your responsibilities would include but not limitedto:

• Provide direct nursingcare to pediatric patients in the LTVU including monitoring vitalsigns administering medications and conductingassessments.
  
• Implement and maintaina plan of care tailored to each patients individual needs with afocus on optimizing respiratory function and overallhealth.
  
• Monitor and manageventilator settings tracheostomy care and other respiratoryinterventions as per physician orders and establishedprotocols.
  
• Perform regularassessments of patients respiratory status including ventilatorweaning protocols and readinessassessments.
  
• Collaborate with theinterdisciplinary team including physicians respiratory therapistsand other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated andholistic care forpatients.
  
• Communicate effectivelywith patients families providing education and support regardingtheir childs condition treatment plan and home carerequirements.
  
• Participate inmultidisciplinary rounds case conferences and care planningmeetings to contribute to the overall management of patients in theLTVU.
  
• Maintain accurate and uptodatedocumentation of patient assessments interventions and outcomes inaccordance with regulatory standards and institutionalpolicies.
  
• Ensure compliance withinfection control protocols safety regulations and qualityimprovement initiatives within theLTVU.
  
• Adhere to ethical and legalstandards of nursing practice including patient confidentiality andinformed consent.
  
• Stay abreast ofcurrent trends research and best practices in pediatric nursing andrespiratory care participating in continuing education andprofessional development activities asappropriate.
  
• Actively engage inperformance improvement initiatives contributing ideas and feedbackto enhance the quality of care provided in theLTVU.
  

Requirements

Tobe considered for this role you must meet the followingrequirements:

• Bachelors degree inNursing (BSN) preferred.
  
• With DHARegistered Nurselicense/eligibility.
  
• Minimum of 3years of experience in pediatric nursing with specific experiencein caring for patients requiring longterm ventilatorsupport.
  
• Certification in PediatricAdvanced Life Support (PALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)required.
  
• Excellent communicationand interpersonal skills with a compassionate and patientcenteredapproach to care.
  
• Willing to work 48hours per week.
  
• Willing to be basedin Dubai UAE.
