    Description
    • To oversee the Housekeepingoperations, including the Laundry and the Internal CommunicationCenter, ensuring that the hotel standards and procedures are fullyknown and followed.
    • To ensure that all therooms are prepared and inspected as per standards and according toguest requests and needs, including the Turn Downservice.
    • To ensure that the flower decorationsin the rooms and public areas are always maintained as per therequired standards.
    • To ensure the up keeping ofall the front of the house, including the hotelentrance.
    • To ensure the up keeping of all thedesignated back of the house areas.
    • To checkregularly the night shift for cleaning.
    • Toensure appropriate stock level for the smooth run of theHousekeeping and Laundry operations and to approve requisitionsaccordingly.
    • To ensure that the inventories oflinen, uniforms and other applicable items are done and recorded asscheduled.
    • To deal with different suppliers andcontractors.
    • To overlook the Pest Controlservice and jointly with the Stewarding Manager and Chief Engineerto establish the Pest Control schedules.
    • Toimplement housekeeping related HACCPprocedures.
    • To be involved in sustainabledevelopment and to apply energy and wastemanagement.
    • To monitor cost control and tosuggest saving programs.
    • To ensure all linenand uniform management and handling procedures arerespected.
    • To implement Focus and otherfinancial procedures.
    • To supervise and controlLost and Found, maintain records and mail packages toclients.
    • To be aware of all VIPs visiting orstaying in the hotel. To personally inspect VIProoms.
    • To make regular room and public areainspections with the Engineering Department on deviation fromstandard set-ups and maintenance. To follow up on the Out of Orderand Out of service rooms.
    • To liaise with theFront Office on the scheduling of rooms for maintenanceprograms.
    • To ensure a close co-ordination withthe Front Office, Engineering, Food and Beverage as well as theGuest Relation regarding usual and unusual guestrequests.
    • To daily review the Night Auditreports related to the Housekeeping.
    • To offerassistance at any time in the operations and to monitor, highlightand suggest improvements on any dysfunction.
    • Toensure a proper coverage and supervision of the Housekeepingsections at all times.
    • To set performancetargets for all associates and constantly monitor and increasestaff productivity.
    • To ensure and perform aproper use of all the equipment and property management system, tohave a perfect knowledge of the set ups.
    • Toensure the strict control of room keys and sectionkeys.
    • To implement and follow up daily checklists.
    • To prepare forecasts andstatistics.
    • To respect schedules, terms anddeadlines as agreed with theManagement.
