What we are looking for?:

Teacher of Science - Biology/Physics Specialist

Our forward thinking and progressive British Curriculum School in Dubai is looking for a Cover Teacher of Science, offering GCSE, BTEC and A Level courses, our school offers a truly international environment for our students, with a distinctly British flavour.

The secondary and Post 16 phases of our school are on their way to 'Very Good' as per the DSIB Framework.

We are looking for a Teacher of Science who:

Has a undergraduate degree or major in Biology/Physics
Has a PGCE in Secondary Science
Has experience of teaching in a British School/British Curriculum School
Has experience of teaching AQA, Edexcel or equivalent British exam boards
Has evidence of 'Outstanding' teaching practice, or the ability to become outstanding
Is confident in planning engaging, student led lessons
Has the ability to use classroom technology to enrich the learning experience of your students
Is an excellent team player, willing to contribute significantly to the science department
Is willing to make a contribution to the extra curricular life of the school
