Department DefinitionThe Real Estate Developments department is responsible for the development and delivery of operational for the real estate projects at Expo City Dubai.
The team is responsible for implementing the development strategy for Expo City Dubai and works with a variety of stakeholders from the master planning phase, through design and construction, to ensure the delivery of large-scale construction projects.
Opportunity ResponsibilitiesThe Director, Programme Controls will be responsible for the programme controls function including Reporting, Scheduling, Change Control and IT Management and Document Control.
The main responsibilities for this role include:
Strategic Responsibilities
Prepare reports, analyses and key communications as requiredDevelop and lead the process for the aggregation of data at programme levelDevelop and lead reporting consistency across programmeLead the management of producing performance data to support successful deliveryLead the management of Baseline integrity, through robust change managementLead the execution of the programme controls, delivering outcomes in line with expectations of programme deliverables, KPIs, operating targetsLead the review of the programme Controls team plans and performance in order to ensure alignment with the overall programme plan and ensure programme delivery remains on targetManage relationships with key stakeholders, internal and external, prepare reports, performance analyses and presentations as requiredTake ownership of specific Performance Management KPIs relevant to the role and ensure systems and processes are in place to monitor performance against them and as necessary implement remedial actions to maintain/exceed KPI targetsAs part of the senior team, contribute to the on-going development of the organisation and the creation of opportunities for efficiency/value enhancement in particular associated with the delivery of solutions within a multi-project environmentCo-ordinate systems for capture, analysis, performance management and reportingLiaise with stakeholders to develop processes and procedures for capture, reporting and performance management
People Responsibilities
Set objectives and evaluate performance of individual direct reports and actively manage key personnel issuesEnsure that all staff acquire the required skills and knowledge through appropriate learning and development programsEmbed culture and vision Expo City Dubai by role-modelling organizational behaviors through performance management, feedback, and coaching
Skills
15+ years relevant professional experience as well as:BS degree in a project management, business, or management related discipline or equivalent experience.
Discipline specific professional registration preferred (PMP, PMI, ICE, RICS)Qualified professional capable of providing planning, leadership, direction, and technical expertise to manage complex tasks and multi-discipline projectsIn-depth knowledge of project controls as applied in major construction environments, preferably in the program management (PgM) capacity.
BSc, BEng, BA or equivalent. Chartered Status/Professional License requiredProject management qualification (APMP etc.) and extensive experience in facilitating project performance management processes, including and based around earned value management methodsExpertise in the leadership and influence of high-performing professional teamsMust have extensive expertise in the analysis of performance data and its conversion into high-quality management information for dissemination across a broad range of stakeholders#J-18808-Ljbffr
