An AC/Refrigerator Mechanic isresponsible for maintaining all refrigeration and airconditioningequipment and installations in good working condition by carryingout necessary repairs and preventive maintenance

As anAC/Refrigerator Mechanic you are responsible for performing thefollowing tasks to the highest standards: Reports to the A/C andRefrigeration Technician/Foreman regarding daily work progress andtrouble report completion.

• Attainsall refrigeration and A/C trouble reports on daily basis. Guestroom trouble is given priority
• Works closelywith A/C and Refrigeration Technician/Foreman and peers to carryout preventive maintenance and annual maintenanceprogram
• Follows all safety rules andregulations in job departmental procedures andinstructions
• Carries out all other tasksassigned to him by his supervisor

In addition to performance of the essential functions this positionmay be required to perform a combination of the followingsupportive functions with the percentage of time performing eachfunction to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon theparticular requirements of the company.

• Able to read Building Airconditioning Refrigeration andElectrical drawings
• Able to fault find andrepair airconditioning refrigeration and building control systems.Good electrical knowledge
• Knowledge of BMSsystems. Experience of reciprocating Chillers and Air handlingplant and cold rooms
• Familiar with plannedPreventive Maintenance and Safety programmes
• Flexible and team player able to work on owninitiative
• Good understanding of watertreatment techniques and able to handle chemicals
• Makes periodic inspection tours to check allrefrigeration equipment functioning properly
• Carries out guest room maintenance according to scheduleprogramme
• Works closely with electrician tocarry out electrical work when required including functions andparties
• Daily refrigeration log sheet to befilled and temperature to be recorded
• Worksclosely with peers to assist in their job when requested bysupervisor
• Keeps all necessary tools in goodworking condition keep their working place neat andclean
• Attains all departmental meetings andtraining classes

• Minimum 5years airconditioning or refrigeration installation or maintenanceexperience in Industrial/Commercial Projects

• Preferable apprentice time service candidate
