    Job descriptionWe're looking for an Account Executive to join our team.

    You'll be an integral part of our endeavor to democratize GIS.As part of our team, you'll maintain & establish relationships with some of the biggest & most prestigious organizations in the region.

    We're looking for someone who's passionate about helping clients find the right-fit solution - someone who isn't afraid to challenge prospects & clients.

    This role is a full-cycle sales role so you will manage the entire sales cycle, from establishing a customer contact till signing a deal.

    You should be able to manage the inbound inquiries as well as prospect new business opportunities through prospecting activities.

    Account management is a key part of this role as a large percentage of our business comes from existing clients which is a testament to our client-focused approach.

    Responsibilities and dutiesYour day-to-day job looks like this:Client ManagementHave a regular cadence with our existing clients to ensure that we're aware of their priorities and challengesStay on top of upcoming renewals & initiate upsell conversations in advanceProspectingRun prospecting campaigns to position SIME's products and servicesThe EssentialsEnsure that all inbound inquiries are answered within 30 minutesKeep all account, deal & contact information updated in our CRMKeeping track of tenders & our responses to tenders including documentation such as bid bonds, performance guarantees etc.

    Continuous learning - keeping up to date with trends by collaborating with our subject matter expertsTruly "own" your territory in terms of both region & product(s)

    UAE-based - valid driving licenseIn addition to these daily responsibilities, you can expect to sometimes:

    Represent the company at eventsLiaise with alliance partners & resellers for key opportunitiesFor us, success is measured by client satisfaction.

    Revenue is a natural outcome of keeping clients happy & effectively communicating our value proposition.

    RequirementsOur must-have requirements are:At least 3 years of experience in software salesTrained in consultative sellingA self-motivated, growth-minded individualMinimum BSc/BA in IT, Business Administration or MarketingIf you meet these criteria in addition to the list above, you will probably be one of our top candidates.

    Existing demonstrable experience in selling Google, Satellite & Aerial ImageryYou have worked in the GIS industry
