What will I bedoing?

As a Head Waiter/ess atWaldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre, you areresponsible for smooth running of service, supervise waiters,runners and provide assistance to junior and senior management.Have excellent knowledge of service so able to ensure and providehigh quality customer service. Specifically, you will beresponsible for performing the following tasks to the higheststandards:

• Manage guestqueries in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner and ensure highquality service at all time
• Ensure that serviceis up to Bull Bear Standards
• Ensure knowledgeof menu, ask for allergies when taking order and introduce disheswhen served to guests
• Ensure mis-en-place iswell stocked at all floor stations
• Followcorrect reporting procedures if faced withissues
• Ensure Food and Beverage orders are of aconsistently good standard and delivered in a timelymanor
• Clean table, replace plates andsilverware whenever needed
• Keep friendly andengaging atmosphere at all time
• If any enquiryfor booking communicate withreception
• Communicate with runners and managerin charge all time
• Guide and help runners,waiters who is working within yoursection
• Practice the true Waldorf AstoriaGrooming standards including uniform dress code, cleanliness andpersonal hygiene

• A good knowledge of all hard liquor,wines, mixes/cocktails.
