    Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, and test powerelectronic systems, including power converters and inverters, powerdistribution systems, and power managementsystems.
    • Develop PCB layouts for powerelectronic circuits and systems.
    • Performsimulations and analysis of power electronic circuits andsystems.
    • Collaborate with cross-functionalteams to ensure that power electronic systems meet overall systemrequirements.
    • Work closely with manufacturingteams to ensure the successful transition of designs fromprototyping to production.
    • Provide technicalsupport to customers and field engineers.
    • Stayupdated on the latest advancements in power electronics andincorporate new technologies and techniques into designs asappropriate.
    • Create and maintain technicaldocumentation, including design specifications, test procedures,and reports.
    • Ensure that all designs andprocesses adhere to industry standards and regulations.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree inElectrical Engineering or a relatedfield.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in powerelectronics design and development.
    • 2-5 yearsof experience in design, fabrication and testing ofelectrical/electronic hardware for power electronics used inindustrial, automotive, or utility scaleapplications.
    • Experience in hardwarearchitecture, board design, board bring-up and prototype and newproduct experience.
    • Circuit designproficiency
    • Schematic capture and eCAD usingEagle, Cadence, OrCAD, Altium orequivalent.
    • Multi-layer printed circuit board(PCB) layout design to support high powerdensity.
    • Experience in designing switchingcircuits, considering thermal and parasiticelements.
    • Experience designing inverters, motordrives, battery chargers (bi-directional) and is well versed with 3phase systems and multi kilo-watt levelelectronics.
