Faststream is recruiting for a leading trader & supplier of marine fuels and lubricants and they are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bunker Trader to join their team in multiple possible locations across Europe/Asia including; Netherlands, Greece & Dubai

Duties include:

• Sourcing and purchasing bunker fuels from various suppliers in the market
• Negotiating with suppliers to secure competitive prices and favorable payment terms
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders
• Monitoring market trends and developments to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
• Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and ensuring compliance with internal procedures
• Providing timely and accurate information and pricing to internal and external parties
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless delivery of services to clients.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Maritime Business, Economics, or Supply Chain Management
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in bunker trading or a related field
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with shipping and trading software
• Good knowledge of the bunker industry, regulations, and market trends
