SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:

Under general supervision, performs various tasks relating to the cleanliness of the exteriors and interiors of cars to protect their appearance.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inspects exterior and interior of vehicle at beginning of each shift for properly operating headlights, turn signals, brake lights, interior courtesy lamps, airconditioning or heating, warning lamps, mirror adjustment, properly inflated tires, windshield wipers, vehicle damage, etc. prior to moving vehicle;
Responsible for ensuring the inside and outside of vehicle are properly cleaned and fueled on an ongoing basis;
Cleans vehicle external area by hand, brush and by operating washing equipment;
Polish, dry and cleans vehicle windows, lights, windshields, mats and exterior body manually;
Vacuum, shampoo, add air freshener and cleans vehicle interior;
Determines requirement and added windshield fluid, gas, oil, water and antifreeze;
Performs basic maintenance check;
Monitors vehicle condition and reports malfunctioning items or damage to management;
Performs other related duties as may be required by immediate supervisor

EXPERIENCE:

2-3 years' experience in car washing or vehicle detailing roles.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Holds at least High school diploma or related vocational course in Automotive.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCY:

Must be able to operate cleaning equipment and knows how to efficiently operate hand tools or power tools and follow the safety polices set by the Company.

Must be continually adapted to changing technology and techniques. Must have an eye for detail and can work without supervision.

Salary:
Up to AED2,000.00 per month
