Principle Accountabilities:


  • On time preparation of Monthly Quarterly and Annual Accounts MRO.
- supporting forecasts and budgets in liaison with line managers

  • Explaining and reporting variances from plan & forecast as they occur
  • Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled (and aged where appropriate) every month either by Shared Services or within the department, and ensuring that reconciling items are dealt with promptly
  • Maintaining provisions and accruals as needed in accordance with requirements
  • Reconciling all overhead costs
  • Preparing gross margin reviews for weekly team meetings
  • Preparing and reconciling gross margin for monthend
  • Completing monthend tasks assigned inc prepaid and accruals
  • Supporting Snr management accountant with MRO actitvities
  • Ensure sound financial controls are in place and working effectively in line with Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
  • Work towards continuous improvement to develop best practice
  • Ensuring all Statutory & Tax Requirements are met
  • Liaising with Auditors & other advisors as required
  • Supporting the Global Controller and site controller as necessary in resolving MRO issues
