We are hiring a Hair and Makeup Artist who is responsible for the design, upkeep, inventory, and quality control of the wigs, makeup, and prosthetics for character and show performers.

This position works closely with the Seamstresses, Costume Technicians, and Costume Attendants to ensure show quality in relation to the overall look of the performers daily.

Responsible for all wig washing and restyling and creating prosthetics for performers.

Will work with the Operation Support Manager-Costuming and Head of Creative Costuming for daily costume division operations and special projects.

• Being responsible for documentation of hair, prosthetic, and makeup looks for each of the characters appearing in the park or representing the park for public relations and at special events
• Helping Costuming Assistant Manager in maintaining accurate and uptodate wig, makeup, and supplies inventory and keeping supplies stocked and request orders promptly
• Participating in offsite or onsite public relations events involving costumes and performers
• When needed, helps crew with daily laundry, including washing, hanging, ironing, and steaming costume
• When needed, help with fabricating and repairing costumes and craft pieces, as well as altering existing costumes with great attention to detail and skilled craftsmanship to ensure show quality
• Organizing weekly dry cleaning pick up and drop off and recording items that have been taken and returned by the dry cleaner as needed
• Managing daily operations of costuming, including, but not limited to: checking in staff, handing out daily assignments, answer radio calls from green rooms, etc.
• Wig design, restyling, making/repairing
• Special FX makeup, body painting, sculpting and mold making, painting, and airbrush experience
• Hand sewing
• Costume Technology experience
• Advanced level computer proficiency
• Attention to detail and highly organized

AED4, AED7,000.00 per month
