Subsea 7 is looking for talented Structural Engineers with any level of experience for positions in the Structural Design for Operations discipline in the Central Engineering Department

Responsibilities:

Responsible for production of deliverables, which may include engineering support to the Drawing Office, design calculations, specifications, procedures, analyses, progress reports, bid evaluations, study reports and various 3rd-party submissionsOriginates technical documentation, accepting personal responsibility for its adequacy.

Involved with meetings/correspondence with Clients, subcontractors, 3rd parties, etc. in a technical capacity.
Undertake analysis, design and engineering activities associated with platform and subsea structure construction, transportation and installation.

Perform sea fastening design for jacket, topside, pipeline, spool pieces, tie ins, risers and umbilical transportation and vessel/barge deck strength check.

Requirements:
Engineering degree or equivalent.
Required work experience related to structural engineering.
Knowledge and experience of FEA software such as SACS, STAAD Pro, ANSYS, ABAQUS will get additional advantage.
Design and detailing in accordance with acknowledged industry Codes, Standards and Design Guides (e.g. API, DNV, AISC); Client Specifications and Scopes of Work.
