Job Position: Azure security consultant Experience: 10 yearsLocation: Dubai Contract Duration: 6 months (extendable)
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Azure Security Consultant to join our dynamic team with 10 year experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud security particularly within the Microsoft Azure environment. The consultant will be responsible for assessing designing implementing and managing security solutions to safeguard our organizations Azurebased assets. Responsibilities:
1. Security Assessment:
Conduct security assessments of Azure environments to identify vulnerabilities misconfigurations and compliance issues.Provide recommendations and implement security best practices to enhance the overall security posture.
2. Security Design and Implementation:
Design and implement security controls and solutions in Azure including network security groups Azure Firewall Azure Active Directory and other relevant Azure services.Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to integrate security into the overall cloud architecture.
3. Identity and Access Management:
Implement and manage Azure Active Directory for secure identity and access management.Configure and monitor Azure AD Conditional Access policies to enforce security policies.
4. Security Monitoring and Incident Response:
Set up and configure Azure Security Center for continuous monitoring and threat detection.Develop and implement incident response plans for Azurebased environments.
5. Compliance and Governance:
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations relevant to Azure environments.Implement and manage Azure Policy and Azure Blueprints for governance and compliance.
6. Security Training and Awareness:
Conduct training sessions and create awareness programs for internal teams on Azure security best practices.Provide guidance to development teams on secure coding practices for Azurebased applications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience as a security consultant with a focus on Azure.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate or equivalent certifications.
• Indepth knowledge of Azure services and architecture.
• Strong understanding of security principles and best practices in cloud environments.
• Experience with security tools and technologies such as Azure Security Center Azure Sentinel and Azure Policy.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Azure certifications in addition to the security specialization.
• Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell or Azure CLI.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS GCP) is a plus.
