Oliver Wyman is now looking for an Events Intern to be based at our Dubai Office

This is a fixed term role for 6 months and the intern would be expected to dedicate between 15 to 30 hours per week on the job.

Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English is essential. Arabic language skills are good to have.

The Opportunity
The Event Intern will assist the Events Team with day-to-day operations and event projects.

This role reports into the Events Manager and will focus on supporting the successful planning and management of firm events.


Key responsibilities

  • Design, Assist Events Team on events from initiation to postevent as directed. This includes event proposal and coordination, venue research, run of show, event registration, preparing event kits and material, vendor sourcing.
  • Support with event promotions drafting event communications (invitation, event reminders, event surveys)
  • Provide onsite support for office events and initiatives.
  • Support IMEA offices in coordinating social activities.
  • Monitoring SharePoint events portal photo management and calendar scheduling.

Experience required

  • Volunteer events experience desirable
  • Bachelor's Degree in Events preferred

  • Proficient use of Zoom Meetings
  • Basic knowledge of SharePoint
  • Proficient use of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Knowledge of event planning lifecycle
