    Description

    Notes:our prominent client is looking for a seasoned DevOps contractorfor a 1 year engagement who will have to relocate to anotherprovince for this role, the role is hybrid office model and hasadditionalperks.

    Responsibilities:

    • Developscripts/tools, designing, automating and integration continuouslyfor on-demand infrastructure provisioning on public/private orhybrid Cloudenvironment
    • Workingindependent with Engineering Team to manage, design and configuringDevOps based solution using Distributed Monitoring/Managementtechnology, Virtualization, Public Cloud andContainerization
    • Documentationfor a variety of audiences to demonstrate learned knowledge fromprojects
    • Longterm goals and finding avenues for new opportunities and be in theknow of the latesttechnologies



    Requirements

    Musthaves:
    • BachelorsDegree in Computer Science or relevantfield
    • Currentlybe allowed to work in Canada legally and currently reside inCanada
    • Startedcareer in full stack development and is now in DevOps capacity fora number ofyears
    • 7+years relevant DevOpsexperience
    • 7+yrs Container application design and implementation with Docker(Engine, Compose, Swarm, Networks, Storage, Images, etc.) andDocker Management Utilities (Docker,Kubernetes)
    • 5+years of public cloud, infrastructure as code (AWS, CloudFormation,Terraform,CDK)
    • Deepknow how of Linux/Unix system, security encryption(AES,TLS)
    • Knowhow of git/github
    • Knowhow of CD/CIPipeline
