As our Vice President of Compliance, you will provide oversight on regulatory and statutory compliance to the Deriv Group in all its areas of operations.

Our company has clients in Asia, Europe, South America, Africa, and Australia.

These different jurisdictions present you with the challenge of staying current with their applicable regulatory requirements and proactivelykeeping ahead of the global regulatory current at all times.

You will help the Group meet all relevant laws, regulations, and licensing requirements by providing technical advice, conducting risk assessments, and designing policies.

Through your experience and knowledge, you will set standards for identifying, detecting, preventing and correcting any infringements of applicable laws and regulations.

Job Responsibilities:
Guide the Deriv Group's compliance efforts and help the Group and its subsidiaries understand the regulations applicable to them.
Update internal policies and procedures in line with any new or proposed changes instandards, legislation, and regulatory notifications.
Identify and assess compliance risks. Develop strategies for mitigating potentiallydamaging compliance and regulatory actions. Share detailed risk reports.
Create a holistic compliance framework in collaboration with our Head of ComplianceAnd our Compliance teams worldwide.
Liaise with regulatory authorities and industry standards organisations as necessary.
Create and implement strategies for monitoring compliance, audits, reviews, and actionplans.
Assist in developing the annual compliance work plan and periodically revise it to keeppace with new regulatory requirements.
University degree in law, criminology, or a related fieldUniversity degree in law, criminology, or a related field15+ years of experience in a compliance roleDeep understanding of Corporate law, AML, and other relevant legislationExperience in dealing with regulatory bodiesSolid understanding of legal requirements and controlsExcellent spoken and written English communication skillsWork experience in the fintech industryExperience with multi-site collaboration over different time zones
